Labor Day Weekend Weddings...

My anticipation is rising for this weekend's weddings.... and we have two!

One of the things I love about Labor Day Weekend weddings is being caught in between the seasons!!!!! Most of us consider Labor day as the end the Summer and the beginning of Fall.... which allows brides and grooms to incorporate Summer or Fall into their wedding day.

Summer weddings consist of a lot of bright and cheery colors with all different shades of pink and turquoise, etc. Where as, Fall is full of warm tones like browns, rich oranges, reds, and deep purples.

Brides + Grooms also have the option of Summer or Fall flowers for their bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, etc. For those couples like myself... Who can't decide which season's flowers they like better... They can blend the two seasons together for a bold mix!

I cant wait to see what Marion + Eugene and Lakeisha + James decide for their weddings this Labor Day Weekend!

DIY Newlyweds...

This past Friday our newlyweds, Lady +Paul (and family) were so artsy-craftsy!!! They livened their Rosewood wedding reception with a ton of DIY touches. DIY stands for do-it-yourself wedding projects. Check out all of the hand-made and home-made wedding touches they accomplished!!!! Absolutely amazing...

Lady + Paul's home-made wishing and advice tree!! (above and below) This was a very cute addition to go along with their home-made sign-in book .... which was made on their MacBook.

Lady + Paul selected the colors red and gold for their wedding theme (above). The couple designed their own menu cards that matched perfectly... but they didn't stop there. They also spray painted candle holders, red and gold. (below)

Not only were the newlyweds crafty... So was their Aunt, who crocheted 180 candle holders for the celebration!!!!

Their wedding cake was designed by the bride, Lady and replicated by our pastry chef, Alex from Tinton Falls Pastry Chef

Congratulations to our very creative newlyweds, Lady + Paul! You did a wonderful jobs on all of your DIY wedding touches!

I think I'm officially about to fall...

Love puts the fun in together...

This past weekend we had the pleasure of sharing in the joy of three oh-so-in-love couples.... and each wedding was very unique!

We started off with Christine + Jitesh! Who we truly enjoyed the excitement of their culture and their Indian Baraat!! (... A Baraat is a wedding procession). The newlyweds wore beautiful reds + golds during their ceremony and changed into luxurious blues + purples for their reception. Take a look below:

the ceremony in our in-door garden room (above right) and the newlywed's beautiful sweetheart table (below)!

Christine and Jitesh's wedding cake! I loved the peacock feathers as a topper!!!

As you can see the reception was full of life! Everyone danced the night away ... And WOW... Jitesh can dance!

Our next wonderful couple was Carmen and Jose! The newlywed's said "I Do" on-site in our garden ceremony room prior to their wedding reception on our Rose level. Carmen and Jose selected a romantic red theme and added a ton of personal touches to their special day! See the photos below:

Carmen, the bride, was extremely organized!!!! When she came for her drop off with Melanie... She had every box labeled! She had envisioned her set-up and labeled each of the boxes accordingly! Not only was it impressive...we thought it was so cute!!! We just had to share it with all of you!

The seating card table accented with red roses!

Carmen + Jose prior to saying "I Do" ... Carmen getting ready in the bridal suite (left) and Jose in the Rose Ballroom (right)

Our Rose ballroom (left) and their wedding cake (right).... both decorated in red!!! The newlyweds selected adorable chopsticks for favors! Not only did we all love them, but we loved how they named each table. Each table was a different characteristic of marriage... For example love, trust, family, etc.

We finished up our fabulous weekend with Olga + Genera's on-site ceremony and wedding reception! This past Sunday was a rainy day.... But it didn't hold back Olga + Genera's celebration... I personally think it added a little something to it!

The entrance even looks pretty in the rain!!!

Congratulations and Best Wishes to all of our newlyweds! Thank you for letting us be apart of your special day!

Summer love....

“Summer love, midnight kisses, shooting stars, and secret wishes." - Unknown

Summertime weekends at The Rosewood Caterers are always a bash! This grand facility was bursting at the seems from all the love that filled the building!!! It started on Friday with Laura and Troy's ceremony on-site in our beautiful ceremony room. Laura walked down the aisle to her groom in a gorgeous beaded-mermaid-style gown! All of us loved it! The bridal party wore ivory and lavender... It was such a sweet color combination for a romantic summer evening wedding reception. The newlyweds and their guests celebrated the night away on our Grand level with a lavish five hour reception! Congratulations to Laura and Troy! We wish you a lifetime of wedded bliss and thank you for allowing us to be apart of your special day!

The summertime fun continued right into Saturday evening with two super-sweet sixteens! Our Grand Ballroom was turned into the Sea for Syndey's sweet sixteen.... with a glowing apple green and turquoise throughout. The theme was complete with live fish centerpieces, starfish place cards and a sand castle cupcake cake. Natalie's sweet sixteen was hosted in our Rose Ballroom and it was also over the top! Her father's DJ company, "All Night Long Entertainment" pulled out all the works for her celebration. Natalie and her guests danced the night away with flashing lights, videos throughout and awesome music! Natalie also had a very touching rose ceremony... Where she gave out sixteen roses to sixteen special people that touched her live. (She even expressed how much they meant her... loved it!!) Happy birthdays to both of your beautiful young ladies!
