Its all about you and letting your personality shine through…

This weekend we were honored to be a part of four very special weddings.

Friday night Tricia and Franco exchanged their vows with classic elegance.  Red, black, and butterflies created a beautiful setting for this momentous event.  Can I just say “WOW” Tricia looked stunning in her gown! Her dress was full of fun and flirty details and adorned with butterfly bling, I loved it! Tricia looked like a pure designer bride.   Tricia and Franco incorporated their butterfly theme in understated yet elegant ways.   They had ivory butterfly favor boxes filled with delicious bon bons, programs enclosed with a butterfly seal, and a beautiful cake decorated with butterflies.  Franco also made his mark when it came time for him to remove the garter. Tricia was in for a surprise… while she was seated on the dance floor the DJ made an announcement saying that there had been a problem in the restrooms and they had to call in a plumber, little did she know it was Franco. He was dressed in a plumber costume and he came out to have a memorable moment with his bride.  He put out all his best moves just to see the smile on Tricia’s face, he finally went to work under her gown after removing a few mice he finally found the garter!  The evening finished with a delicious candy bar for guests to enjoy.  Congratulations Tricia and Franco!

There is nothing like tiffany blue to say I Love you! Love was in the air Saturday morning as we drew closer to the vows of Mary and Sterling.  Mary looked like a princess in her sparkling Cinderella style gown.  Everyone rose with excitement as the garden room doors opened for Mary to make her way down the aisle, she was simply breathtaking!  All the bridesmaids, Mary’s seven sisters, were dressed in tiffany blue silk gowns looking as lovely as ever!  Surrounded by family and friends after six years together Mary and Sterling said “I DO”.  After their guests enjoyed cocktail hour it was time for the bridal party to make their entrance.  Mary and Sterling had worked with their MC to create a small story about each member of their bridal party before they were announced into the room.  They wanted all of their guests to know how important each member of their bridal party was to them. There is nothing like a tiffany ring to match your other bling… guest were given tiffany blue boxes filled with an oversized diamond ring which can be used as a key ring, such a cute way to complete their theme.  Congratulations Mary and Sterling may your marriage remains full of love and family!

Rebecca and Mike our ever so bubbly couple arrived early Saturday evening to take pictures prior to their ceremony.  I do not believe there was a moment the entire evening when Rebecca and Mike were not smiling at each other.  Rebecca looked very summery in her old fashioned elegant gown.  The silk bands and lace flower embellishments were simply perfect; her dress truly suited her style.  While in the ceremony as Mike put the ring on Rebecca’s finger she started to do a little dance, I loved that she always showed her excitement.  Later in the evening guests along with the bride and groom were surprised with a touching slide show of the bride and groom though the years.  Mike provided cigars from his cigar shop for everyone to enjoy with him. Congratulations Rebecca and Mike may your marriage be full of fun like you two are.

A sweet symphony of love can only begin to describe Kassie and Steven’s reception.  Kassie and Steven both musicians and music lovers let their passion set the tone for their wonderful reception.  Kassie and Steven’s guests enjoyed a barber shop quartet serenading them through out cocktail hour.  They also added delicious butler passed sushi to their cocktail hour, one of their favorite treats.  Guests enjoyed their mouth-watering signature drink “Lovers Serenade” made with one of Kassie’s favorites Fig Vodka…yum!  Their musical theme began to soar in the reception.  Eddie Pirrera the fantastic singing DJ kept guests singing along all evening and the dance floor was never empty.  The big hit of the night was the surprise performance by Kassie and Steven. Kassie sang beautifully while Steven accompanied her on the piano. Such a talented couple!  Congratulations Kassie and Steven may the melody of your life together always have the sweetest tune!

Keeping with Traditions...

Last weekend we celebrated with two special couples! Saturday we began with a traditional ceremony for Meseret and Teshome. Their guest arrived back in the evening to let the celebrations begin. For entertainment they choose a gospel singer, who was fantastic! Meseret and Teshome provided traditional Ethiopian deliquesces for dinner, guest could not get enough of the delicious feast. Congratulation Meseret and Teshome!

Sunday evening we celebrated with another fantastic couple Vimla and Alan, who were also keeping with traditions. They enjoyed a traditional ceremony on Saturday followed by an intimate reception, by Sunday the newlyweds and their guest made their way to The Rosewood to commemorate in a lavish fashion. Vimla and Alan mixed their traditions with some modern twists! After enjoying dinner guests hit the dance floor. The party was not ending any time soon, when the reception ended guest headed out to rest before the final festivity which would be held at Alan’s parent’s home the next day. I love the traditional week long celebration of marriage, such a beautiful fusion of two families; it deserves to be celebrated in a momentous manner. Congratulations Vimla and Alan!

The Love of a Lifetime....

Whether you meet your freshmen year of high school or reconnect further down the road, our couples this weekend showed how special it is when you finally meet the love of a lifetime. Friday evening Lisa and William, who reconnected 20 years later after being high school sweethearts found each other again and we were lucky enough to watch their blissful happy ending begin with a beautiful intimate wedding. Lisa had a vision of timeless elegance. Her ivory and pale blue color scheme was exquisite. I loved that their wedding song was “Save your Love, by Great White.”This was their song when they dated after high school and on their first date years later they were sitting in her car reminiscing when this song came on, it was one of those moments when you know it is so much more than coincidence.

On Sunday afternoon Korenza and Adam said their heartfelt vows in the Garden Room. They met freshmen year of high school and after a few years of being friends their love for one another took over. Thirteen years later and still head over heals in love they begin the next chapter of their life together. Adam and Korenza chose a champagne and sangria color scheme, absolutely beautiful. They created their own centerpieces with glass vases with a sangria flowers, and floating candles. We loved their cupcake favors, how sweet! Congratulations Lisa & William and Korenza & Adam may the love you feel right now be the love that last your whole lives through!
