How did the season start? With a little boy who stole our heart....
This
weekend The Rosewood was in full swing and loving every minute of being a part
of so many wonderful events. Wishing
wells were filled, blessings were given, milestones were celebrated, and vows
were said. After a whirl wind three days
we wound down with a very special couple.
As the rain came down outside it seemed like pure sunshine preparing
Omaria and Jiopinson for their ceremony.
With such a busy weekend Patty and Danielle found a little helper for
the office, Noah, Omaria and Jiopinson’s son.
While Noah answered phones mom was doing her finishing touches in the
bridal sweet, and wow did Omaria look beautiful. Jiopinson and Omaria’s intimate ceremony and
reception was the perfect ending to a weekend full of once in a lifetime
moments, it brought home to all of us what an honor it is to be able to make your
significant day the perfect day!

Butterfly Kisses...
Melinda and Jose said “I Do” Saturday evening. They transformed their reception with blue butterflies. Butterflies represent the soul. In Greek myth, Psyche, which literally translates to mean soul, is represented in the form of a butterfly. Befittingly, Psyche is forever linked with love as she and Eros (the Greek god of love) shared an endless passionate bond together, both hopelessly in love with the other. Butterflies were the perfect theme to express the bond of Melinda and Jose's souls, which will remain hopelessly in love with each other.

The Rose ballroom looked breath taking with royal blue touches. Blue is calm and tranquil and signifies loyalty, wisdom, confidence, truth, and trust which are all fundamental qualities of marriage. From their colorful fresh flower centerpieces, blue sashes and napkins, the incredible blue butterfly cake, and blue up-lighting the room looked remarkable. Details of a wedding tell so many unsaid things about the couple both as individuals and who they are together in unity. Congratulations Melinda and Jose may your soul’s forever soar together and your endless loves like the butterfly know no bounds.

I hope you dance...

On Friday evening we celebrated one of our favorite annual traditions The Daddy Daughter dance. From little ones to young ladies the girls of Edison grabbed their favorite guy for a special date night. It is a magical moment to stand on your dads shoes for a dance. From the time we are young to the very significant dance with your father on your wedding day, there are a million moments to let your daddy spin you around and remember he was the first man you loved. I wanted to share some songs for anytime you’re up for a dance and especially if you’re trying to figure out what song is right for the two of you to dance to on your wedding day…

Fortunate to have you...
Returning from an incredible week in Las Vegas at the Catersource conference and tradeshow, I was raring to go for Asa and Dylan’s wedding. The energy and passion at Catersource is honestly unsurpassed by anything I have every experienced. After a week of sharing knowledge with other caterers, learning from the best in the business, and opening my mind to possibilities beyond my wildest dreams I could not be more excited to return to The Rosewood. It takes being out of your element to truly see what is in front of you. On the plane ride home I began thinking about all the couples and families I am so honored to work with. No two weddings are ever alike. Being fortunate to get to know each and every couple. How they met, why their theme means so much to them, what they like to eat, details about the exceptional guests they have included in their special day and even why they chose The Rosewood as their wedding venue! It is an extraordinary experience to be a part of each love story.... Intimate weddings tell a story all their own.
On Saturday evening amongst close family and friends, Asa and Dylan embarked on a beautiful beginning as a family. They selected a cherished bridal party their children as ring barer and flower girl. The energy and love in the room was glowing on each guest face and in the red
accents. I loved their fortune cookie favors. From the black container with a silver accent bow, to the message in each cookie thanking their guest for sharing this special day with them. Congratulations Asa and Dylan you were fortunate to find each other but your love will keep going no matter how that cookie crumbles! Wishing you all the best!
