Sealed with a Christmas kiss…

Tara and Sean said “I Do” last Friday.  They choose one of the most magical months of the year to set the tone for their wedding.  What could be more romantic than kissing under mistletoe? Sharing your first kiss as husband and wife below mistletoe!!  Tara’s bridesmaids looked beautiful in their red silk gowns, perfect for a winter wedding!  I loved how Tara and Sean embraced the magic of the holidays when planning their wedding.  For centerpieces they had red, white, and green candles surrounded with pine cones and Christmas ornaments, to give an elegant yet festive look to the tables.  My favorite was their favors, homemade hot chocolate mixes.  All you do is add hot water and you have a delicious warm way to remember their special day on all the upcoming winter nights.  Congratulations Sean and Tara! May you share millions of Christmas kisses and always have New Year’s bliss!

“I Do” love something blue….

Heather and Jerry were married Saturday afternoon on the perfect crisp fall day.  Our very happy couple enjoyed some private photos in our photo garden before retreating in for a memorable evening affair.  Jerry took Heathers hand and led her into their first dance as husband and wife to Love Song by 311, their wonderful families looked on as they gently danced and sang to each other, it was a very special moment.

The Reception, held in the Rose Ballroom, looks magnificent with all the royal blue details.   The bride’s maids dress, chair sashes, napkins, and cake details all royal blue looking so opulent and elegant ….it has become one of my favorite colors for fall!

Congratulations Jerry and Heather may you fall in love with one another all over with each magical moment the future will bring!

Forever love…

Kayla and Phil enjoyed all the advantages of our exclusively yours package on Friday evening.  Kayla arrived early with her gorgeous bridesmaids to relax and enjoy getting ready before they shared their first look.  In the early afternoon sun Phil waited at the base of our grand staircase to have his first look at Kayla on their wedding day.  In her beautiful gown Kayla floated down the steps to Phil’s side.  The bridal party and family members were watching from upstairs.  The moment was filled with laughter and tears, after all they have been together for nine years.

Kayla and Phil picked a fantastic peacock theme!  They incorporated peacock feathers into their bouquets, favors, and decorations.  To enhance the colors of the peacock feathers they picked purple napkins and royal blue sashes. The grand ballroom looked amazing as their guests danced the evening away.  Congratulations Kayla and Phil may you enjoy years and years of peacock kisses!

Today I will marry my best friend…

This weekend we celebrated with three heart warming couples!  On Friday evening Julie and Eric arrived at The Rosewood in Cinderella style, a fantastic white car, after a beautiful ceremony in Westfield.  They choose a blue and yellow color pallet to enhance the Rose Ballroom.   Julie took inspiration from Etsy.com and created some fun additions to their reception.  For their photo booth she put together these fun chalk boards which guest can write on to add a special note to their photos.  I loved their favors, Julie and Eric took classic mason jars and put these adorable chalk board heart stickers on the jars and filled them with chalk for the guest.  These unique favors are great and can be used by guest in so many ways.  Congratulations Julie and Eric!

Saturday morning began with the vows of Nicole and Daniel.  This couple was so fun and edgy… it was a pleasure to dance the afternoon away with their awesome family and friends.   Nicole’s bridesmaids looked beautiful in their red satin gowns.  Their selection of classic cool songs kept guest on the dance floor all night.  The evening ended with a sweet treat for the guest a delicious candy bar to indulge in!  Congratulations Nicole and Daniel!!

Saturday evening turned turquoise when it was time for the bubbly Brenda and Rick’s reception.  Rick and Brenda shared a private first look on our grand staircase…such a romantic moment!   Brenda selected turquoise napkins and bows for her ballroom.  The pop of color everywhere really gave the ballroom a whole new feel!    Rick was sure to add his own touch too as the star wars theme song began to play as they were announced for the first time as husband and wife both of them smiled from ear to ear.  Brenda and Rick’s guest took home delicious cake bite pops, turquoise of course!  Congratulations Rick and Brenda!!

Its all about you and letting your personality shine through…

This weekend we were honored to be a part of four very special weddings.

Friday night Tricia and Franco exchanged their vows with classic elegance.  Red, black, and butterflies created a beautiful setting for this momentous event.  Can I just say “WOW” Tricia looked stunning in her gown! Her dress was full of fun and flirty details and adorned with butterfly bling, I loved it! Tricia looked like a pure designer bride.   Tricia and Franco incorporated their butterfly theme in understated yet elegant ways.   They had ivory butterfly favor boxes filled with delicious bon bons, programs enclosed with a butterfly seal, and a beautiful cake decorated with butterflies.  Franco also made his mark when it came time for him to remove the garter. Tricia was in for a surprise… while she was seated on the dance floor the DJ made an announcement saying that there had been a problem in the restrooms and they had to call in a plumber, little did she know it was Franco. He was dressed in a plumber costume and he came out to have a memorable moment with his bride.  He put out all his best moves just to see the smile on Tricia’s face, he finally went to work under her gown after removing a few mice he finally found the garter!  The evening finished with a delicious candy bar for guests to enjoy.  Congratulations Tricia and Franco!

There is nothing like tiffany blue to say I Love you! Love was in the air Saturday morning as we drew closer to the vows of Mary and Sterling.  Mary looked like a princess in her sparkling Cinderella style gown.  Everyone rose with excitement as the garden room doors opened for Mary to make her way down the aisle, she was simply breathtaking!  All the bridesmaids, Mary’s seven sisters, were dressed in tiffany blue silk gowns looking as lovely as ever!  Surrounded by family and friends after six years together Mary and Sterling said “I DO”.  After their guests enjoyed cocktail hour it was time for the bridal party to make their entrance.  Mary and Sterling had worked with their MC to create a small story about each member of their bridal party before they were announced into the room.  They wanted all of their guests to know how important each member of their bridal party was to them. There is nothing like a tiffany ring to match your other bling… guest were given tiffany blue boxes filled with an oversized diamond ring which can be used as a key ring, such a cute way to complete their theme.  Congratulations Mary and Sterling may your marriage remains full of love and family!

Rebecca and Mike our ever so bubbly couple arrived early Saturday evening to take pictures prior to their ceremony.  I do not believe there was a moment the entire evening when Rebecca and Mike were not smiling at each other.  Rebecca looked very summery in her old fashioned elegant gown.  The silk bands and lace flower embellishments were simply perfect; her dress truly suited her style.  While in the ceremony as Mike put the ring on Rebecca’s finger she started to do a little dance, I loved that she always showed her excitement.  Later in the evening guests along with the bride and groom were surprised with a touching slide show of the bride and groom though the years.  Mike provided cigars from his cigar shop for everyone to enjoy with him. Congratulations Rebecca and Mike may your marriage be full of fun like you two are.

A sweet symphony of love can only begin to describe Kassie and Steven’s reception.  Kassie and Steven both musicians and music lovers let their passion set the tone for their wonderful reception.  Kassie and Steven’s guests enjoyed a barber shop quartet serenading them through out cocktail hour.  They also added delicious butler passed sushi to their cocktail hour, one of their favorite treats.  Guests enjoyed their mouth-watering signature drink “Lovers Serenade” made with one of Kassie’s favorites Fig Vodka…yum!  Their musical theme began to soar in the reception.  Eddie Pirrera the fantastic singing DJ kept guests singing along all evening and the dance floor was never empty.  The big hit of the night was the surprise performance by Kassie and Steven. Kassie sang beautifully while Steven accompanied her on the piano. Such a talented couple!  Congratulations Kassie and Steven may the melody of your life together always have the sweetest tune!
